I’ve loved this little house for more than twenty years. When I finally had the opportunity to buy it a couple of years ago, I could not say no. It has been here for more than a century, and it deserves love. I am heartbroken that I cannot keep it, but it has cost me far more than I anticipated to bring it back to life.
66 Main Street is nearly finished, with the exception of a kitchen. If the little house has not found a buyer by spring, I will put in a small kitchen, list it with an agent - and of course the price will then have to go up accordingly.
Inside you’ll find one bedroom plus additional loft space, and one bathroom with a shower. The heat pump system ready to be installed will keep the space warm in winter, and cool in the summer. There are high windows in the front living space, for privacy and soundproofing. The large back room features an entire wall of windows overlooking the Kagawong River Ravine, just down river from Bridal Veil Falls.
Without a kitchen, the location could easily be perfect for a small business. It is located directly across from the ever-popular Candy Store and Cafe, and just up the hill from the beautiful village of Kagawong.
